SAUDI ARAMCO TOTAL Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP) is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and TOTAL S.A. that was formed to develop the 400,000 barrels per day Refinery and Petrochemical Project located in Jubail in the eastern province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  The environmentally friendly Jubail Refinery will produce a high proportion of white products such as diesel, gasoline, LPG, petrochemicals, and jet fuels from low cost heavy crude. Upon completion, the refinery will the 7th most complex refiner in the world. Our connection with SATORP (Saudi Aramco Total Refining & Petrochemical Company   Petrol Steel Co.Ltd of Saudi formed in association with Rotary Engineering Limited of Singapore for the engineering, procurement, fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning of all types of storage tanks. The state-of-the-art fabrication facility built on a total area of 70,000 m2  is capable to undertake 40,000 MT of Plates and 600,000 dia. inch. of piping fabrication works per annum.  FLOW SOLUTIONS INTERNATIONAL INC and our distributor Excel Hydro-Pneumatics(S) Pte Ltd is proud to join hands to work on a large contract to design and build the entire requirement for the strainers and filters for this project awarded by Rotary Engineering/ Petrol Steel joint venture.     FLOW SOLUTIONS INTERNATIONAL HAS BEEN TRUSTED BY NEW YORK CITY  DEPT OF  ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (NYCDEP) TO SUPPLY FILTRATION SYSTEM FOR CENTRALIZED OXYGEN TRANSFER SYSTEM (OTS).    The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) proposed an upgrade of the Gowanus facilities to improve the capacity, function, efficiency, and reliability of the Gowanus Canal flushing tunnel system and wastewater pumping station with the aim of improving the water quality in the Gowanus Canal over the long term. In addition the proposed action will include the installation of a canal centralized oxygen transfer system (OTS) to help and maintain acceptable dissolved oxygen (DO) levels in the Gowanus canal.   FSI FILTER SYSTEMS TO BE USED TO FILTER THE OXYGEN SUPPLY. THE PROJECT OF BUILDING A 24" DUPLEX STRAINER SYSTEM IN STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND DELIVERED TO THE CLIENT ON FEBRUARY 22, 2010 MALAYSIA LNG (MLNG) A PETRONAS subsidiary The MLNG Dua plant facility is part of Malaysia's PETRONAS LNG Complex located in Bintulu, Sarawak. The LNG Complex comprises MLNG Satu (completed in 1983), MLNG Dua (1995) and MLNG Tiga (2003) plants. The MLNG Satu and MLNG Dua plant facilities, each comprising three independent process trains, are capable of delivering 7.6 and 7.8 million metric tons per annum (mtpa) of LNG, respectively. The expansion of the complex in 2003 with MLNG Tiga added two more trains, bringing the total capacity to about 23 million mtpa. The three plants are being operated as one integrated site, which is currently the world's largest LNG producer at a single location FSI SUPPLIED 6 UNITS OF 24" 300# RATED CRYOGENIC STAINLESS STEEL STRAINER FOR MLNG DUA DEBOTTLENECKING PROJECT FOR LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS FILTRATION. . We were very pleased to work for a world largest liquefied natural gas plant with support of our distributor of Malaysia   FSI  received a blanket order for supply of  PUMP SUCTION DIFFUSERS from a Texas based company for their district cooling plant project of  Palm Islands, the 8th wonder of the world. FSI is proud to be a contributor to one of the wonders of the globe.

BrightSource Energy has broken ground on a 29-megawatt solar steam plant at a Chevron oil field in Coalinga, California.The 100-acre project’s 7,000 mirrors will focus sunlight on a water-filled boiler that sits atop a 323-foot tower to produce hot, high-pressure steam.

FSI has supplied several high pressure strainer which includes Y strainers and duplex strainers to be used filter the steam in this project before the steam enters turbine and other expensive equipment in the pipeline.

In a conventional solar power plant, the steam drives a turbine to generate electricity. In this case, the steam will be injected into oil wells to enhance production by heating thick petroleum so it flows more freely. Oil companies typically rely on steam generated by natural gas or other fossil fuels to maximize oil recovery in places like the oil patch in California’s Fresno and Kern counties, where the petroleum is heavy and gooey.

In September 2009, FSI received an order to manufacture and supply Y type strainers in various sizes and pressure ratings as per shell standards for the  Pulau Bukom Refinery's Long Residue Catalytic Cracking (LRCCU) Unit Revamp Project undertaken by Chiyoda Singapore
